"Let's listen to a story told without words, a story about a journey to the winter and back. A story about the hope that the snow which falls down inside of us, which is not seen but which is colder and heavier than the real snow, will finally melt."

The Songs of Winter were composed, with some breaks, during nearly seven years. They form a conceptual album of a Czech musician Pavel Jung. Abandoned and repeatedly discovered theme has found its final shape in thirteen piano pieces with elements of minimalism and ambient.
